Some other challenges Ive taken personally
Hi, I’m Savannah and I really like words
Apparently owning a shark isn’t really in the cards for me so I bought a cat and named him shark
Being a top three winner of the Miami Art Congressional competition
Winning the Future Business Leader of America competition for Creative Writing, Broadcasting and Documentary Film
Running into glass doors (rather it be open and know than closed and missed the opportunity)
Once upon a time, I couldn’t read or write. I know what you’re thinking: “Savannah, no… your writing is incredible and (mainly) grammatically correct!” But yes. As the (alledged) dyslexic that I am, I took the challenge and ran with it. Why? Because I really liked mermaids and I really liked stories and there wasn’t too many shows out there about mermaids so I guess I had to learn to read or make the stories myself.
In 2025 I got a little ambitious and read 52 books, that’s a book a week, cover to cover, for an entire year. Now, despite my burning hatred for math (yes Mom, I know “hate” is a strong word, but it’s necessary here), I did some calculations… and that’s a lot of pages. A lot of words. So, it’s safe to say, I really like words. But don’t be fooled as Nick Miller once said, “I’m not convinced I can read, just that I memorized a lot of words.” And with those words, anything can happen.
